Trap Shoot Information (current schedule)
How many shells to bring? 25 per relay
What kind of shells? 7 1/2, 8, 9 only
Cost? $5.00 per relay
How to Pay? Cash, small denominations preferred
What gauge, etc.? 12 ,16 ,20, 28 and .410 gauge shotguns are allowed
Do we have a loaner gun for someone to try it out? Other shooters will let you use theirs
Do I have to be a member of Somers Sportsmen's Assoc? No, we welcome anyone who wants to shoot to join us.
- Absolutely no Damascus barrels are permitted.
- The person in charge of the trap shoot has the right to disapprove of any firearm which they consider to be unsafe.
- Eye and ear protection must be worn by shooters and spectators at all times.
- Proper footwear is required. No sandals, flip-flops or high heels.
- Non-members must sign waiver every time they attend an event
We shoot Sundays at Noon, October through April. May through September we shoot on Tuesdays at 5:30 PM.
No shoots during inclement weather or on holidays. Sometimes we have a rain date.
